I got the idea for this blog as I was trying to think up an idea for a story. I was just fooling around online when I came across a random story line generator. It was really fun, so I am going to post the first thing that comes up on it, and come up with a whole story about it. I will give myself a week and post whatever comes out.
I encourage everyone else to participate, it should be lots of fun to see the differences and similarities. Ready for the challenge? OK here it is!

Challenge:
A character will go to sleep, but the action is misinterpreted. During the story, a character makes a slip of the tongue. The story must involve a costume at the end.
A character reveals their feelings, but the action goes terribly wrong. During the story, a character gets a demotion. During the story, someone is mistaken for someone infamous.

Can I assume that these are ideas for two stories? (Well, I'm only capable of incorporating one set). Also what is the word limit? I ask because you could get swamped!
You can use it as one challenge or two, meaning you can fit it all in one story, or only use one challenege. No word limit, but it should be a "short" story :)
oh this is too much fun too bad I don't have time cos I seem to have ideas for short stories coming to me like a fountain!! actually i had an idea for an interactive blog where you write a section and then a new person writes the next section- you know kind of like that paper folding game...
p.s i really like the weird goblin music not heard stuff like that before.
Hey that sounds like a fun idea too! Maybe I will use that for a challenge later :)
That music is from an effed up foriegn horror film called Susperia. I watched it when I was a teenager but I really just remember the music and how cool it was.
